Monster Quest

Monster Quest is a hack of the Quest Roleplaying Game by The Adventure Guild. In Monster Quest you play trainers, individuals who share a special relationship with Pokemon. Some do so as competitive battlers, others as travelers who simply wish to have a travel companion. Regardless, you all live your lives alongside wonderful creatures known as Pokemon.

Ultimately, Monster Quest is a game about trainers and the relationship they have with their Pokemon. How you define that relationship is what you will be playing to discover.

For the sake of submitting this in time for Pocket Monster Jam, this document does not include rules about roles specific to this game and some basic rules related to Quest. It does include rules related to Pokemon, and how you can capture them. You should be able to use them with any role in Quest. This is a very rough draft and feedback is very much appreciated :)
